Ghika’s closest collaboration with publishing houses was with “Ikaros”, with which he made 13 works.

The India Scrapbook (1958), in which for the first time he illustrates his texts,

his personal impressions from his trip to India in 1958, divided into five sections (Calcutta, Benares, Bombay,

Jaipur, Kathmandu-Nepal) and accompanied by twelve designs in Chinese ink.

A highly important and extremely rare signed artist portfolio by Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghikas (1906–1994), titled I N D I A, published by Ikaros Editions in December 1958.

This is the first and only edition, issued in a strictly limited run of 600 numbered copies.
Offered here is copy No. 290, complete and very well preserved.
