Petros Glezos (1902–1996) was a Greek writer and jurist. In his works he mainly tells stories of everyday life. The Academy of Athens honored him in 1977 with a prize for the collection Dull Eyes, while in 1986 he was honored with the 1st State Prize for Literature for the work The Memoirs of a Gentleman. His works were translated into many European languages.

George Vakalo (Greek: Giorgos Vakalo (Vakalopoulos); 1902 – 1991) was a 20th-century Greek visual artist, renowned for his contributions to scenography and painting.
