Νapoleon Vallien was born in Corfu in 1853. He is a relatively unknown but valued playwright, who lived in the region between Corfu and Samos and worked as an agent for the Austrian Loyd from 1905 on, inaugurating a new route, the connection Samos-Piraeus. Vallien produced a total of ten plays, eight of which were printed in Samos. (The Candidate for Mayor 1906, Autumn Leaves 1906, I do not Invent to say no 1907, Mr.Anthimus 1909, Martha 1910, The Friend 1911, The Palmistry 1912 and Anthoula 1913).
