A rare and historically significant Greek Orthodox pocket almanac issued in 1938 for the Church of the Genuine Orthodox Christians (Γνησίων Ορθοδόξων Χριστιανών), commonly known as the Greek Old Calendarist Church.
Published during a pivotal period in the development of the Old Calendarist movement, this scarce booklet provides a fascinating contemporary snapshot of one of the most important religious controversies in modern Greek ecclesiastical history.
The almanac was compiled by the monk Sevrianos on Mount Athos (Άγιον Όρος) and printed in Athens by A. Kostiroglou (Kapodistriou 52). Produced in a practical pocket format intended for everyday use, it survives today as an uncommon piece of religious and historical ephemera from the interwar period.
