Francois Perilla was a French art historian and painter. He was born in 1874.  Francois Perilla was particularly engaged in the study of Byzantine and Modern Greek art. He wrote: “Mount Athos”, “Dafnis History church and Mosaic 1928”, “Chios 1928”, “Mystras 1928”, “Macedonia”, “Islands of Greece”, “In the land of the Centaurs,” “Watercolors of Greece”, “Attic walks”, “Old Athens”, “In 1821 and Makrygiannis”.
