Το Τραγούδι το Ατελείωτο (The Endless Song) is a collection of poetry by the Greek poet Foivos Anatoleas (Φοίβος Ανατολέας), published in Athens in 1948 by the printing and publishing house of P. Karavakos (Π. Καραβάκος).
Published during the difficult and culturally significant years immediately following the Second World War, this volume represents an authentic piece of Greek literary history from the late 1940s.
AUTHOR-SIGNED PRESENTATION COPY – A PERSONAL DEDICATION
The front flyleaf bears an original handwritten ink inscription by the author, personally addressed to a friend named Vangelis Metaxas.
The dedication reads:
«Στο φίλο Βαγγέλη Μεταξά με την αγάπη μου Φ. Ανατολέας»
Translation:
“To my friend Vangelis Metaxas, with my love. F. Anatoleas”
The inscription is particularly appealing in its personal nature, transforming an ordinary first-edition poetry collection into an individual presentation copy with a direct connection to the author.
The handwriting and signature remain clear, dark and fully legible.
