Rare first edition, published in Athens, Greece, in 1962 by Alexandros & Evangelos Papadimitriou. This is the first book written on the newly revealed Saints Raphael, Nikolaos and Irene of Thermi, Lesbos, making it an important work of modern Greek Orthodox literature and spirituality.

Written by Photis (Fotis) Kontoglou (1895–1965), one of the most influential Greek writers, painters, and iconographers of the 20th century, whose work played a pivotal role in the revival of Byzantine art and Orthodox tradition.
