Stratis Tsirkas  – real name Yannis Hatziandreas – 1911 in Cairo (a city in which there was a large Greek community) – 1980 in Athens, was a Greek-speaking writer and essayist. In Alexandria he became friends with the writer Konstantinos Cavafy. He moved to Athens in 1963.
