G. Passaris was founded in 1932 by Georgios Passaris from Amorgos Island who moved with his family to Syros Island.
The company was bought in 1990 by A. & B. Livadaras. It still works today and produces Loukoumia (a.k.a. Turkish delights) and Halva-Pies.
