A rare and beautifully produced promotional brochure for Wickham Court Hotel, published in London in 1935 by the Press & General Publicity Service during the first year after the historic country house was converted into a luxury hotel.

This elegant interwar publication is particularly notable for containing three original tipped-in woodcut illustrations by Clare Leighton, one of the most celebrated British wood engravers of the twentieth century, renowned for her depictions of rural life, architecture, and the English landscape.

The brochure also features a striking coloured frontispiece by Martin F. Hamryn and is presented in its original printed cardstock wrappers with black and silver stamping and the original silk cord tie.

Combining fine printing, travel promotion, architecture, and original graphic art, this is a highly desirable piece of British illustrated ephemera from the golden age of travel.
