Rare original copy of Eptanisiaka Fylla (Επτανησιακά Φύλλα), Issue No. 13, published in December 1948 in Zakynthos (Zante), Greece.

The journal was founded by Ntinos Konomos (1918–1990), the noted Zakynthian historian, writer and scholar, who directed the publication for many years.

Signed presentation copy
Of particular interest, this copy bears a handwritten dedication and signature by Ntinos Konomos directly on the front cover.

The inscription reads:

“Στον αγαπητό φίλο Τάκη Πατρινό με φιλικά αισθήματα”

“To dear friend Takis Patrinos, with friendly feelings.”

The dedication is clearly legible and remains remarkably well preserved.

Dionysios Solomos special issue

This issue is dedicated to Dionysios Solomos (1798–1857), Greece’s national poet, in connection with the 150th anniversary of his birth.

The contents include an unpublished letter by Dionysios Solomos dating from 1832.

The paper shows natural browning, age toning and fragility consistent with late-1940s paper stock. The spine has structural wear and chipping. The issue remains intact and legible.
