Lina Kasdagli (1921-2009) was a Greek writer, book editor and translator. He wrote mainly poems and translated many works of foreign writers.  

George Varlamos (1922 – 2013) was a Greek painter and engraver. In addition to engraving he also illustrated more than 200 books, as well as various social posters. He participated in international exhibitions, having been awarded in many of them, while in 1995 he was honored with a prize from the Academy of Athens.
