The International Folklore Festival (Međunarodna Mostra Folklora) is an annual international folklore festival in Zagreb, an event of original folklore and amateur folklore dedicated to the preservation and presentation of native heritage. It has been held in Zagreb since 1966. It is the successor to the Festival of Croatian Peasant Culture, which was held in the 1930s by the Peasant Unity. It presents and promotes the inherited values of all peoples and cultures and contributes to efforts to preserve cultural diversity in a globalized world. The Festival’s programs are designed by experts, ethnologists and folklorists, who are in constant contact with the contemporary life of these phenomena and their bearers. The ethnological and folkloristic professions contribute to the preservation of Croatian traditional culture as heritage. The festival helps promote and preserve the richness and diversity of folklore heritage (music, poetry, dances, customs and costumes) and contributes to the preservation and expression of multiple identities, national and local.
The Radionice Grafičkog Školskog Centra Zagreb was an educational institution in Zagreb, Croatia, dedicated to training students in graphic arts, design, and printing technologies. The center not only served as a training ground for students but also undertook real-world printing projects, which was common in former Yugoslavia. It collaborated with cultural organizations to produce materials like event posters including the production of promotional materials for events such as the International Folklore Festival Zagreb.
