Manos Eleftheriou (Μάνος Ελευθερίου, 1938 – 2018), was a Greek poet, lyricist and prose writer. He has written poetry collections, short stories, a novella, two novels and more than 400 songs. At the same time he worked as a columnist, publishing editor, illustrator and radio producer. He collaborated with almost all Greek composers, such as composer Yiannis Markopoulos, Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hatzidakis, Giannis Spanos, Stamatis Kraounakis,  and others.
