Very Rare! 1884, Johanna Hering, Olga Eschenbach, Verloren und gefunden, First Edition

Johanna Hering married Salkowsky (1821-1884) was a German writer. She published her works under the pseudonym Olga Eschenbach. The content of her books are strongly influenced by her own life. Through her work as an educator, she enjoyed writing books for girls, Her independence as an educated woman, who had become independent of her parents’ home as well, is also reflected in her books. Although her novels do not explicitly rebel against the role model for young women that prevailed in the 19th century, there are repeated phases in the lives of their protagonists in which they briefly do not want to bend to the rules.
