By 1904, under manager Walter Herrlau, the hotel offered this guidebook for international travellers, featuring photographs, a and useful information on Paris at the dawn of the 20th century.

The highlight is the Louis Vuitton advertisement printed on the inside cover, emphasizing authenticity by stating only two official addresses and inviting clients to request a catalog. Such early Vuitton adverts are exceptionally scarce and highly collectible.
