Ioannis Miliadis (1895-1975) was a Greek archaeologist of the 20th century. He was born in Athens in 1895. The son of Nikolaos Miliadis, an officer in the Greek army, and Kalliopi nee Koufogianni, he studied at the Athens School of Philosophy, but also attended law courses. He did postgraduate studies in Vienna, Berlin and Munich. In 1919 he participated in the Artistic Society, together with Tellos Agras, Demosthenes Voutiras, Angelos Doxas, Dimitris Myrat and others. He was a populist, a member of the Educational Group and the Democratic Youth of Alexandros Papanastasiou.
