Christos Markidis is a Greek painter and poet. He was born in Drama in 1954. He studied painting, fresco painting, art history, rhythmology and pedagogical psychology at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1974-1979). He then lived and worked for a time in Paris. In the period 1985-1988 he was a scholarship holder of the State Scholarship Foundation for the development of a specific artistic project in Greece.
