Drei Frauen, excerpts from the lives of three different women, were written by the German playwright and writer Carl Hauptmann (1858-1921), who came from the family of the famous writer Gerhart Hauptmann. In the shadow of his popular brother, he was repeatedly almost forgotten, despite his contacts with well-known artistic circles.
