Vasos Haniotis (1902-1985) was a Greek poet from the island of Karpathos, known for his diverse work. In addition to poetry, he was involved in translation and folklore, contributing significantly to the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of Karpathos. His  poetry collection “The Book of Love” explores the passion of love. A review of this work was published in 1930 by E. Ch. Symeonidis in the magazine “Mousika Hronika – Musical Chronicles”.
