Nikos E(n)gonopoulos (Greek: Νίκος Εγγονόπουλος; 1907 – 1985) was a Greek painter and poet. He is one of the most important members of the Generation of the ’30s, as well as a major representative of the surrealist movement in Greece. His work as a writer also includes critique and essays.

About the book: 

Nikos Engonopoulos did not include these five poems in his collection while he was alive. The texts have been preserved in the poet’s manuscripts and typescripts, where his general will for their typographical appearance is expressed. They are accompanied by ten paintings, coming from private collections.
