Description
A rare original 1937 political pamphlet issued by the Εθνική Εταιρεία (National Society) during the Metaxas Regime. Titled Το Ξεσκλάβωμα του Αγρότη (The Liberation of the Farmer), this 15-page booklet was printed in Athens and reflects the propaganda and social messaging of the 4th of August dictatorship under Ioannis Metaxas.
This copy is particularly noteworthy because it bears the stamp of the Εθνικός Παμφοιτητικός Σύλλογος (National Pan-Student Association) twice. This was a prominent student organization of the interwar period, aligned with national-conservative and anti-communist ideals, active especially during the 1920s and 1930s. Materials preserved with their official stamps are very rarely seen on the market.
