Description
A rare and highly collectible association set centered on Odysseas Elytis (1911–1996), Nobel Prize–winning poet and visual artist. The lot includes a signed first edition art book and the original exhibition catalogue from the Basil and Elise Goulandris Foundation (Andros, 1992), along with additional provenance material.
This set is particularly significant due to its personal inscription by Elytis to Greek consul Stefanos P. Karadontis, accompanied by his visiting card and the ex libris of Lucille Karadontis, establishing a strong and desirable provenance.
