Description
A rare and highly collectible signed first edition (1957) of “8 Μονωδίες για τραγούδι και πιάνο” (8 Monodies for Voice and Piano) by Alexandros Botetzayias.
Self-published and produced in a limited context, this scarce score is hand-signed and dedicated by the composer, significantly enhancing its importance and desirability among collectors.
The volume contains eight lyrical works for voice and piano, representative of the mid-20th-century Greek art song tradition, with strong influences from the Ionian musical heritage. Such signed Greek music editions from this period are uncommon and increasingly sought after.
