Yannis Moralis (1916 – 2009)
A key figure of the Generation of the ’30s, Moralis is among the most important Greek modernists. His work transitioned from figurative compositions to abstract forms characterized by balance and lyricism. Beyond painting, he was active in architecture and stage design, contributing iconic works such as the Athens Hilton façade and murals for the Athens Metro.
