Panagiotis Rodios  (Παναγιώτης Ρόδιος) (Rhodes, 1789 – Nafplio, 1851) was a Greek writer, fighter, hero of of the Greek War of Independence  1821 and  a politician.

Viaros Kapodistrias (1774–1842) was a Greek politician, lawyer and member of the Filiki Eteria, a secret organization whose purpose was to overthrow the Ottoman rule of Greece and establish an independent Greek state. He was the  brother of two Governors of Greece, Ioannis Kapodistrias and Augustinos Kapodistrias.
