Vassilis Polyzos studied law and political and economic sciences at the University of Athens. He was a member of the International Bar Association (London) and the Human Rights Institute. On television, he worked as a content editor and presenter of the show Greece is not only Athens (ERT-1, 1985-87). He was also editor-in-chief of the magazine Ta Agrotika (1983-87), director of the scientific review Agrotika Themata (1984-85), editor and director of the monthly O Strefis (1982-86). An admirer of the style of the Greek-American poet and critic Nicolas Kalas, he is one of the main representatives of postmodernism in Greece. Vassilis Polyzos died in 2021.
