Eugène Rizo-Rangabé (1850–1941), a member of the distinguished Phanariote Rizo-Rangabé family, was a Greek army officer, historian, and genealogist. He published several important genealogical works, including Livre d’Or de la Noblesse Ionienne, Golden Book of the Noble Phanariotes and the Princely Families of Wallachia and Moldavia (1904), and Recueil de documents concernant la famille Rizo-Rangabé. His works remain essential references for researchers of Greek nobility and heraldry.
