Alexandros or Alekos Korogiannakis (Megara, 1906 – Athens, 1966) was a Greek engraver and painter. He studied at the School of Fine Arts. After his graduation, he systematically engaged in engraving. From 1928 to 1939 he worked as a cartoonist for various newspapers and magazines. In 1939 he was hired by the Bank of Greece for the engraving of Greek banknotes. In order to specialize in banknote engraving, he went to Vienna and attended copper engraving courses at the National Bank of Austria. In 1942 he engraved the Victory of Samothrace on the 5000 drachma banknote.
