This visually powerful and historically significant poster was created for the 10th Congress of the Communist Party of Greece (1978). The artwork is by the legendary Greek engraver Tassos (Anastasios Alevizos), renowned for his politically engaged, socially conscious printmaking that became a visual language of resistance throughout 20th-century Greece.

Tassos studied under Dimitrios Galanis and Kefallinos, and rose to become one of Greece’s most influential printmakers. His work has been exhibited internationally in France, Italy, the U.S., the Soviet Union, and Japan, earning him recognition far beyond his homeland.
