Indipohdi is a verse drama in five acts by the German Nobel Prize Laureate Gerhart Hauptmann, which premiered on February 23, 1922 under the title Das Opfer (The Sacrifice) in the Dresden Schauspielhaus with Paul Wiecke as Prospero. The poet had staged his piece, written in iambics, together with theater director Paul Wiecke.

Gerhart Johann Robert Hauptmann (1862  – 1946) was a German dramatist and novelist. He is counted among the most important promoters of literary naturalism, although he integrated other styles into his work as well. He received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1912.
