Extremely rare original 1971 publication issued by the Ministry of Public Order and the City Police Headquarters 

of Athens (Αρχηγείο Αστυνομίας Πόλεων), titled:

Πάνθεον των εν υπηρεσία πεσόντων αστυνομικών υπαλλήλων (Pantheon of Police Officers Fallen in Service).

This first edition was published in Athens in 1971 as a memorial volume dedicated to the police officers who lost 

their lives in the line of duty between 1922 and 1970.

The Cities Police (Αστυνομία Πόλεων) was founded in 1920 and served as the urban police force of major Greek cities including Athens, Piraeus, Patras, and Corfu.
