Spyridon Tsakopoulos (1884 – March 6, 1947) was a Greek physician and politician. He studied medicine at the University of Athens and went into private practice as a physician. He was elected Member of Parliament for Arcadia in the elections of August 1910 and re-elected in those of 1912, May 1915, 1920, 1926, as Member of Parliament for Mantineia in the elections of 1933 (with the People’s Party) as well as Member of Parliament for Arcadia with the support of the People’s Party in the elections of 1935 and 1936. After the occupation, he was re-elected for the last time as a Member of Parliament for Arcadia with the support of the People’s Party in the 1946 elections. He served as deputy minister of hygiene and perception in the government of Panagi Tsaldari (1933), a position from which he resigned in March 1935, as well as minister of the New Portfolio in the governments of Georgios Papandreou (April and May 1944). He was one of the first settlers of the settlement of Ekali. He died in Athens on March 6, 1947, being an active Member of Parliament.
