Dimitrios Megalidis (1908 – 1979) was a Greek painter, known for his participation in the National Resistance 1941 – 1944 when, as head of the ELAS photo-film crew, he depicted the most important figures of ELAS officers and ordinary fighters and other resistance fighters organizations, as well as scenes from the daily life of the rebels. He studied painting at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris and at the Athens School of Fine Arts.
