Tassos (1914 -1985) was one of Greece’s most important 20th-century engravers, known for his politically charged and socially conscious art. A student of Dimitrios Galanis and Kefallinos, Tassos became a powerful voice in visual resistance, chronicling key events in modern Greek history through printmaking. His work was exhibited globally, including in France, the U.S., Italy, the Soviet Union, and Japan.
